California Choices is a one-stop-shop for nonpartisan voter information. The California June 5th election has five statewide ballot propositions and primary elections for both the Gubernatorial and Senatorial candidates. We have pros and cons of each proposition, a summary of ballot and candidate endorsements, and in-depth information to enable voters to make an informed decision this Election Day.

Important dates:

  • May 7, 2018: Vote-by-mail ballot mailing period begins, vote-by-mail application 
  • May 21, 2018: Last day to register to vote (you can conditionally register and vote at your county elections office after the 15-day voter registration deadline), register to vote 
  • May 29, 2018: Last day to submit a vote-by-mail ballot
  • June 5, 2018: Election Day, find your polling placehere

California Choices, a collaborative effort by Next 10 and IGS at UC Berkeley, has been designed to provide a better understanding of the challenges that our state faces and to provide nonpartisan information to educate voters on the statewide ballot initatives included on the California ballot.
