Sen. Fran Pavley (CA-Agoura Hills) led a discussion about state government reform Friday morning at Providence Tarzana Medical Center and said she passed up an important invitation to be a part of the talk because she believes change is needed in California.
"A couple of days ago, I got a call from the White House. President Obama is having a gathering of about forty of us, and it's on energy and it's on cars . . . but this was just as important, maybe more important," said Pavley.
